Lakeside Minerals is a family run business who has been supplying Gypsum to the South-West agricultural region for many years, working with farmers who are committed to achieving the best results from their soil in a natural, sustainable and cost-effective way.

Lakeside Minerals is open for Gypsum orders 7 days a week (except during rain or harvest/vehicle bans) from January to early April every year. Stocklick for sheep, formulated by Animal Nutritionist Dr John Milton, is also sold in bulk by the tonne over the summer months.

GYPSUM

Gypsum is a naturally occurring source of sulphur and is beneficial for increasing yields through additional plant growth. Yields are increased by improved root growth and uptake of nutrients, improved germination and soil moisture content. Gypsum breaks down hard soils and allows for easier cultivation and for more efficient water infiltration.
